In 2006 he was promoted to a Prototype Projects Manager and was in charge of four prototype new builds – Cigarette Racing 55 (USA), Pearl 50 (UK) and Numarine 55 & 52 series. The projects were fully prepared for the serial production.

In 2007 Emre started working at Alen Yachts as a Deputy General Manager. He was responsible for setting up the shipyard. New production lines were released – 68ft Metaphor M/Y (Victory Design) Series, 12m Lobster Yacht Series, 9m Tender and Sloop Series.

In 2008 the period of Peri Yachts, where he worked as a Projects Manager, started. He had a wide range of responsibilities from the technical and financial issues, to production and design. Under his guidance the following new builds were released – 37m M/Y Fusion, 37m M/Y Hakuna Matata 37 and 41m M/Y Bibich.

In 2010 he was promoted to the position of a Manager of a new facility established by Peri Yachts. His main responsibilities were setting up and managing the second shipyard. 

In 2012 Emre transferred to Sarp Yachts and worked as a Shipyard Manager. The company is owned by the Kanatli Familly, owners of Eti Group companies, one of the biggest well-known group companies in Turkey.  Emre established a superyacht builder brand and set up a shipyard from the scratch. He was responsible for the budget, cost controls & contracts. 46 m La Passion, XSR 85 series and Nacre 62m are the projects built under his responsibilities. Besides, his team assumed administrative and technical management of the yachts owned by Eti & Sarp Group.

In 2013 he got an A Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist degree.

In 2017-2018, having completed a 12-month program, Emre got an MTA Yacht & Small Craft Surveying diploma, a diploma in Superyacht Management and Superyacht Surveying – diplomas that are recognised by the University of Portsmouth. Besides he completed Charter Yacht Broker courses held by the Charter Yacht Brokerage Association in the USA. 

In 2021 he completed Koç Executive MBA program that was ranked among the top 50 programs in Financial Times Executive MBA Ranking 2020.

Apart from that, Emre Sandan occupies the position of a Chairman and a board member of several non-governmental associations and business federations.

He has taken part in numerous international seminars and panels as a speaker and attended various international courses in RTM, Infusion, Moulding and other GRP technics in the UK and the USA.
